We could caught up with Cristina (founder) to pick her brains on what to expect as the sport takes off across the pond and what they have up their sleeves for the coming months…
What was your first Pickleball experience and when did you get the bug?
My first Pickleball experience was when my husband and I stumbled upon some “tennis” courts. To our surprise, they turned out to be pickleball courts. We got intrigued, borrowed paddles from some friendly little girls playing there, and immediately fell in love with the game! The social aspect, the competitive spirit, and the sheer fun of playing hooked us from the start.
At what point did you decide to start a Pickleball Company?
We decided to start a Pickleball Company when we saw the potential for growth in the market and the need for quality products. Our aim was to create innovative products by providing top-notch pickleball equipment.
How did you look to make a difference in the Pickleball market?
Our goal is to make a difference in the Pickleball market through innovative products and top-notch customer service. We treat our customers as part of the #oneshotfamily, providing a warm and welcoming experience for everyone.
Pickleball is still a very young sport in the UK – are there any lessons to be learned for developing the sport over the pond!?
My number one advice would be to be welcoming to everyone, creating inclusive and accessible programs, building a strong community of players and prioritize the fun factor!
What would be your top 3 tips for beginner picklers and which oneshot paddle should they start with!
Top 3 tips for beginner picklers: Practice regularly to improve your skills, play with experienced players to learn from them, and most importantly, have fun! As for paddles, we recommend our Oneshot starter paddle, which is perfect for beginners.

What new products have you got in the pipeline?
We’ve got some exciting new products in the pipeline! Our latest addition is the Aero Infinity paddle, a unibody design with thermo-foam injected around the edge to minimize vibration, offering great power and spin. Additionally, we just launched our accessories line, featuring edge tape, overgrip, the innovative Katana overgrip, and a Pro Backpack. Stay tuned for more paddles in testing and other cool, innovative projects we’re working on!
